Bruce Wayne Mills, 70, passed away on April 9, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Bruce, the oldest son of Homer Mills Jr. and Priscilla (Gosselin) Mills, was born on Dec. 14, 1954. He grew up in Franklin, where he lived most of his life before moving to Northfield.

After high school he enlisted with the Army and was stationed in Taiwan. After returning to the states, he worked for many years at Oak Laminates and Quin-T Corp (now 3M).

Bruce enjoyed fishing and pheasant hunting and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. The best time to ask him for a late curfew was right after a Red Sox win. He believed in showing love instead of just saying it. He spent a lot of time watching his son, and then his grandson, playing baseball, his favorite pastime. He was at all the school events and dance recitals. When he wasn’t being a spectator for his grandchildren, he was home acting as the family video editor – turning all our old photos and videos into slideshows and DVDs.

He was predeceased by his parents, Homer and Priscilla Mills, and his wife, Wendy Tsao. He leaves behind his children, Donna Cohen and Robert Cohen of Franklin, Tracy Terrill and Mark Terrill of Loudon, Brenda Mills of Franklin, and Jeremiah Mills of Franklin; his grandchildren, Kyle Despins, Cory Cohen, Briana Johnson, Callie Terrill, Meagan Terrill, Calvin Faria, Alivia White, Jeremiah Mills Jr., Madisyn Mills and Christopher Mills; his great-grandchildren, Paisley Johnson, Kaleah Johnson and Tatum Johnson; his siblings, Carol Graton, Beverly Wheeler, Homer Mills, Ernest Mills, Brian Mills and Penni Amrine; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.

At his request, a private gathering will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bruce’s name to the Payson Center in Concord.
