Bonnie J. Barsanti, 65
ALTON — Bonnie Jean Barsanti, 65, died Feb. 16, 2016, with her husband by her side, succumbing to breast cancer with great dignity and pride.
Bonnie was born on March 5, 1950, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Harold and Edith (Brennan) Emerson. Bonnie graduated from King Philip Regional High School in 1967.
Bonnie moved to New Hampshire in 1971 and worked for Purity Supreme Supermarket for 18 years before becoming a full-time mother while helping her husband do the bookwork for Alton Veterinary Clinic.
Family, friends, and giving back to her community were Bonnie's passion. People who were lucky to know her remember Bonnie's beautiful blue eyes, gentleness, and loving personality.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Stephen W. Barsanti, VMD; two beloved daughters, Taryn K. Davey of Wolfeboro, and Ashley R. Barsanti of Alton; and stepson, Stephen (Nino) F. Barsanti of Miami. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Bryn, Liam, Megan, Cullen, and Maura Davey; three sisters, Judy Navarro, Brenda Muir, and Jan Edwards; several nieces and nephews; and numerous loving friends and neighbors.
There will be a small private memorial in the coming days along with a larger celebration of Bonnie's life later in the year.
In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be made to the Alton Food Pantry by phone at (603) 875-2273.
