NORTHFIELD — Mrs. Barbara Davidson, 76, of Northfield, died at Mtn. Ridge Healthcare Center in Franklin on March 2, 2014.
She was born in Laconia on Sept. 6, 1937 the daughter of Lawrence and Vitaline (Granger) Robinson. Barbara was raised in Laconia and was a graduate of Laconia High School.
Several years ago, she was employed at Woolworth's in Laconia. She was later employed at The Arthur S. Brown Co. in Tilton.
Barbara was active in the South Baptist Church in Laconia where she was a Sunday School teacher. She later was a parishioner of the Tilton-Northfield Congregational Church. Barbara was a great cook and also enjoyed canning.
Family members include her husband of 52 years, John W. Davidson of Northfield, three children: Robin A. King and husband Anthony , Judith D. Davidson, and Roger R. Davidson and wife Ami, all of Northfield, three grandchildren: Lincoln Xavier King, Elizabeth V. King, and Emma Marie Blanche Davidson, all of Northfield, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Robinson and a sister, Alice Duguay.
A graveside funeral service will be held in the spring in Park Cemetery.
