ASHLAND — Anthony L. Randall, 63, passed away suddenly at his home on March 28, 2025. He was born on Aug. 18, 1961, in Plymouth. He was the son of Rodney and Marion (Kilgore) Randall.

Tony was proud to be a lifelong resident of Ashland, attended Ashland Elementary School and was a 1979 graduate of Ashland High School, where he was a three-sport athlete. He went on to New Hampshire Technical College in Berlin, graduating in 1985, with a degree in natural resource management, technical option, surveying.

For many years he was a self-employed surveyor and septic designer. Later in his career and at the present time, he was employed as surveyor in the Right of Way Bureau for the State of New Hampshire.

Tony served the Town of Ashland as police chief from 2009 to 2019. He was also a selectmen for the Town of Ashland and had served on the Ashland School Board. He was currently a trustee of the Green Grove Cemetery Association. He was a member of the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association and Granite State Onsite Wastewater Association.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching birds and other wildlife, gardening, working with his tractor, geocaching, and his grandchildren. Tony was a Little League and Babe Ruth baseball coach for many summers when his kids were growing up.

Tony is survived by his wife of almost 28 years, Christine Hobart Randall of Ashland; his son Joshua Randall and wife Erica of Princeton, Massachusetts; his daughter Kate Randall Burrows and husband David of Ashland; his grandchildren Teddy Randall, Sullivan Randall and Noah Burrows; his brothers Christopher Randall and wife Gwen of Ashland and Brian Cottrell of Barnstead.
