LACONIA — Alice E. Foster, 92, of 175 Blueberry Lane and formerly of Plymouth Terrace Apts., Plymouth died at Genesis Eldercare Network – Laconia Center on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. She was the widow of Grover C. Foster who died in 1967.

Mrs. Foster was born June 16, 1916 in New Boston, N.H., the daughter of Fred E. and Sarah A. (Todd) Stevens.

Mrs. Foster lived most of her life in the Plymouth, N.H. area before moving to Laconia in 2002. She was employed at I.P.C. in Bristol for fourteen years. In her earlier years, Mrs. Foster enjoyed farming. She was the best mother. She loved life and enjoyed cooking for the family.

Mrs. Foster is survived by her son, Stephen R. Foster, of Plymouth and by three grandchildren, Sheriann Foster Carignan of Lakeport and Tammy Newcomb of Thornton and James Foster of Plymouth.

According to Mrs. Foster’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
