SANBORNTON — Local acoustic guitar player and singer, Mark Dionne, will perform at the Lane Tavern on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m. This free program is sponsored by the Sanbornton Historical Society.
Dionne is an acoustic guitar player and singer who performs freestyle songwriting on the go and covers hits spanning seven decades, from folk and country to contemporary. Dionne plays everything from Elvis Presley to the everyday radio play and has toured throughout the region for several years.
Having performed over 350 shows over the last decade, he has made frequent stops at the Gilmanton Winery, Hermit Woods Winery and the Omni Mt. Washington Hotel, where he was the house musician for several years. His shows are never two of the same and are somewhat unique to what is on the music scene today.
The Lane Tavern, home to the Sanbornton Historical Society, is located at 520 Sanborn Road in Sanbornton. The Lane Tavern is air conditioned and handicapped accessible. This program is free to the public and will be followed with light refreshments. Free parking is available across the street.
