FRANKLIN — Franklin Opera House will host playwright/performer J.T. Turner, founder of The Actors Company, at Franklin Public Library on Friday, Nov. 14.

Turner will be performing his one-man show, “Robert Frost: Light & Dark,” described as “a remarkable and intimate journey.” The performance mixes biographical anecdotes with readings of Frost’s most famous poems, from “The Road Not Taken” to “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.”

Turner’s moving performances as Frost have filled the historic Frost Farm in Derry, New Hampshire, to capacity multiple times and have been featured by the Vermont Humanities’ Council Snapshot series, Museum on Main’s Kinney Lecture Series in California, and numerous theaters, libraries, and schools across North America.

Turner is an award-winning professional actor, playwright, historian, and teaching artist. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity, with credits on stage, screen and audio. Turner also tours theaters, museums, schools, and libraries with his original one-man literary and historical theatrical shows.

Tickets are available at FOHNH.org.
