LACONIA — Mid-State Health Center is pleased to announce the reopening of its RISE Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program, restoring an important resource for individuals and families navigating substance use and recovery in the community.

The RISE Recovery IOP is a structured, evidence-based program tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. Individuals engage in group sessions over several weeks, focusing on developing coping skills, preventing relapse, and building a foundation for long-term recovery. The program emphasizes peer support and shared experiences, creating a safe and encouraging environment where participants can grow together.

Leading this renewed effort is Andrea Sobolov, MA, LCMHC, who joins Mid-State Health as clinical coordinator for Recovery Services. Sobolov brings a comprehensive background in behavioral health and substance use treatment, along with a strong dedication to building meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Her approach emphasizes collaboration, empowering patients to overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals.

She holds a master of science in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor of science in criminal justice from Plymouth State University. Her passion for helping others and her commitment to fostering resilience make her a valuable addition to the RISE Recovery team.

“I am honored to join Mid-State Health Center and look forward to working alongside this community to support individuals on their recovery journeys,” said Sobolov. “Together, we can create a healthier, stronger community where everyone has the opportunity to heal and thrive.”

“Recovery services are not only life-changing for individuals, they are also vital to the health and well-being of our entire community,” said Robert MacLeod, Mid-State Health CEO. “When we invest in recovery, we strengthen families, reduce stigma, and create a more resilient and compassionate community for everyone.”

With the reopening of the RISE Recovery IOP, Mid-State Health Center reaffirms its belief that everyone deserves support, understanding, and access to high-quality care during their recovery journey. RISE Recovery is now accepting referrals.
