TILTON — Granite VNA is offering two sessions of Healthy Steps for Older Adults, a falls prevention workshop to help older adults learn how to protect themselves and live a full and active life, free from the fear of falling. One session will be held in Tilton and the other in Alton
For Tilton, balance screenings are Monday, Nov. 3 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Tilton Senior Center, 11 Grange Road. The workshops are being held on Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Balance screenings are Friday, Nov. 14 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Gilman Library in Alton, 100 Main St. The workshops are being held on Friday, Nov. 14 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
For either session, all registered participants must complete a balance screening and attend both workshops.
