WOLFEBORO — Granite VNA is offering a six-week Living with Grief Support Group on Wednesdays beginning Feb. 18 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sessions will be held at the First Congregational Church, 115 South Main St. in Wolfeboro.

These six weekly group sessions for adults are a safe, caring space to share and learn alongside others whose lives and hearts have been broken open by loss. Together, attendees discuss ways of coping with grief and the challenges of making their way in a changed world.

The program is open to anyone who has suffered the loss of any beloved — in a partnership, family of origin, family of choice, or friendship.

Registration is required and space is limited.

Granite VNA is offering “A Matter of Balance — Virtual Translation,” an online falls prevention program that helps adults view falls and the fear of falling as controllable, change the environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. The program is on Thursdays beginning Feb. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. The introduction of the program is Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

The eight-week “A Matter of Balance — Virtual Translation” class provides the tools needed to gain confidence and learn simple fall prevention strategies.

Registration is required and space is limited. Note that a camera and microphone is needed to complete the program. Technical instruction is available to participate in the group.

Registration is required by Monday, Jan. 26. To register, call 603-224-4093, ext. 85664 or visit granitevna.org
