A furniture and yard sale will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2238 Parade Road, on Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help send needy kids to camp. In addition to yard sale items, the sale will feature two trailers full of office furniture and possibly hotel furniture from Good Shepherd Supply. For more information call Ron Garnett at 393-7143.
The sale benefits C.A.T.C.H. (Community Advancement Through Camping and Helping), a group organized at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in January to raise funds to help children in financial need, ages 8-12, to afford a residential camping experience. The goal is to send 25 local children to camp in New Hampshire this summer.
