Women's Mobile Fashion Boutique Opening in the Lakes Region

LACONIA — The latest trend in retail has arrived to the Lakes Region – introducing Niche Boutique, a travelling women's boutique on wheels. Guests can shop the mobile retailers' latest styles, including clothing, accessories, handbags, and jewelry, while supporting local artisans and products Made in the USA. Being mobile allows the truck to come to the customer; equipped with its very own dressing room.

Niche Boutique is the brain child of mother-daughter duo, Kim and Beth San Soucie. With lower start-up costs and overhead and the ability to take the shop to the customer, made the mobile truck the obvious choice. 'Our first thought was to hop on the food truck wagon. Then coming to realize without my mom, there was no way we'd survive – I can't cook to save my life!' says Beth. The women took some time to think about their options and with over 40 years of combined retail experience, it was then that they had their 'A-Ha!' moment. Beth thinks that opening the doors will get 'those with creative ideas in Lakes Region talking and encourage more entrepreneurial spirit in the area – from mobile businesses to pop-up shops'.

While there is one other mobile truck in New Hampshire, Niche is the first mobile clothing boutique in the state. Niche will offer styles for women ages 30 to 60 with sizes from small to plus size; ensuring something for everyone. All of the clothing will be available under $100 and has been hand selected by working with various designers. Beth mentions, 'Our goal is to be the go-to boutique where you won't find the pieces just anywhere. The selection will continuously be changing which will make each visit a unique one'. Brands from France and the UK as well as the US; making for items that aren't available in department or retail chain stores. The truck will also carry jewelry from local artisans as well as other products that are Made in the USA.

Their plan is to collaborate with local businesses to provide an added service to female clients – salons, spas, cafes, etc. Niche will also offer their clients the ability to host their own 'Girls Night In' private home parties by bringing the truck directly to customer.
