WLNH teams up with Petal Pushers for Christmas in July

Petal Pushers, Home of Ma and Pa Petal on Route 106 on the Laconia/Meredith line, is leading the charge this year for the 98.3 WLNH Children’s Auction.

“It’s Fill a cone for a $1 ice cream cone,” said Chris Ialuna, Operations Manager for WLNH. "Anyone who comes into Petal Pushers this week will be asked to fill a cone with any monetary donation, and receive an ice cream cone for only one dollar."

The week long promotion will end with a bang on Sunday, July 24, as WLNH and Petal Pushers present “Christmas in July”.

There will be an inflatable moon walk, animal petting zoo, Simplicity the Clown, The Laconia Police with their Dare Vehicle and The Laconia Fire Department, plus the one dollar cones, and the entire WLNH Auction crew broadcasting live. All of the money raised on that day will benefit the Children’s Auction in December.

“Yes, the Children’s Auction is still five months away, but we’re always looking for ways to bring us to the next level and bring in more money each year," Ialuna said. "Please head on down to Petal Pushers and show your support all week long.”

Ialuna observed that Petal Pushers has had a tip jar all year long which will also be donated to the Auction. “I encourage any business to step up and help out a great cause between now and December," he said. "Thanks to Petal Pushers for leading the charge this year!”
