Union Church welcomes bell ringers on Sunday

MEREDITH — In keeping with an inter-denominational format designed many years ago, the Union Church of Meredith Neck will welcome the Lutheran duo of the Rev. Brad Wolff and music director Mary Divers to the 10 a.m. service on July 17.

Rev. Wolff has been an active member and associate pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Laconia, and is also a retired social studies teacher at Ashland Elementary School. He continues to keep busy officiating baseball and volleyball games for many local school districts, and has a message for Sunday entitled, "Practice Hospitality, But Don't Master It."

Divers is a well known music icon in the Lakes Region as director of the New Horizons Band and the Joyful Noise Bell Choir, in addition to many other musical venues. The 10 member Bell Choir will ring several songs on Sunday, using many techniques to get melodic noise out of each bell.
