GILFORD — Forty-one travelers are celebrating St. Patrick's Day in Galway, a picturesque city on the west coast of Ireland. "We've had an amazing journey here with absolutely incredible weather while making many new friends" said Marie Caprario of Penny Pitou Travel.
Penny Pitou Travel, along with Patrick's Pub & Eatery of Gilford, put together their third 8-day adventure in Ireland, visiting Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford, Killarney and Galway.
"We love Ireland" said Patrick's co-owner Allan Beetle. "The people are amazing, the countryside is stunning, and the pubs are many. To journey along with some of our customers and staff makes it especially memorable".
The group will enjoy the St. Patrick's parade and festivities in Galway before departing for home on Saturday.
"We plan on hosting a similar trip next year with our friends at Patrick's" says Caprario. Trip details for the 2018 journey will be available in June.
