LRGHealthcare and Tanger Outlet Center of Tilton have teamed up to promote breast cancer awareness on Saturday with a "Pampering for a Purpose" event at the outlet center.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local area salons and vendors will provide free pampering services while educational displays and health professionals will be on hand to answer questions about breast cancer. There will also be pink fashion displays, live music, and free gifts while supplies last.
Tanger Outlet Center is also donating proceeds from “Pink and Choose” discount cards to the LRGHealthcare Women’s Imaging Center. Also, during the first week of October, 25 percent of all “Shop for a Cure” gift card sales will be donated. Everyone who purchases either offer is eligible for a raffle for a Tanger Outlet gift card and “pampering” prizes.
