Entrants wanting to vie for the title of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International can take an initial step toward qualifying on Saturday, August 21 at SurfCoaster USA in Weirs Beach, which will be hosting the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International NH State Finals.

That morning will also mark the preliminary's for the New England Regional Little Miss & Mister Hawaiian Tropic pageant, with WLNH 93.2 FM broadcasting live with Chris Ialuna serving as Master of Ceremonies.

Registration for the Little Miss & Mister event will be held from 11 a.m. on and the Model Search will take place at 12:30 p.m. There is a $35.00 entry fee for children as young as one year through age 16.

Registraton for the Miss Hawaiian Tropic NH State Final will be held at 3 p.m. with the Model Search held at 5 p.m. There are two rounds that each competitor participates in during the preliminary competition — clubwear and swimwear. Each contestant is on stage three times. Both events are open to the public with purchase of admission fee.

The competition is reportedly the largest pageant in the world with international appeal.The winner will receive representation by Karon Shea Model Management, an all expense paid trip for the winner to compete in Hawaii for the US Finals and numerous other prizes.
