FRANKLIN — The Franklin Opera House is proud to announce the return of the Concerts in the Park series for this summer. These events are made possible by the generous sponsorship of Watts Water Technologies and the collaboration of the Franklin Opera House and the Franklin Parks & Recreation Department.
Concerts take place on several Thursday nights starting July 9th – September 5th, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Gazebo in Odell Park. Enjoy the beauty of the Winnipesaukee River, a nearby playground to entertain the children and within sound of the music and even a fishing pier to enjoy a favorite pastime while you listen to the music. In the event of rain, concerts are moved into the Opera House.
Performances take place July 9, 16 and 23, August 6, 13 and 20 and September 5th featuring Liz and Faiella, Don Bartenstein, Zach Benton, Beefstu, Breaking Character, Tim and Dave and Nightrider. A listing of the performers can be found on franklinoperahouse.org and also look for the colorful blue brochures placed around town announcing the Franklin Opera House 2015-16 Season.
