The Gilford Rotary Club's first “Rock’n Ribfest" is coming up this Sunday, August 14, at the Gunstock Recreation Area. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. and last all afternoon.
On hand will be rib vendors, live music, a classic car show, high-speed-quad rides to the top of Gunstock for spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee, children's activities, and many other exciting events. Tents with tables and chairs will be set up for public dining.
At the heart of this event is a vote by the public for “best ribs”, with a plaque awarded to the winner of “2005 Gilford Rotary Rock’n Ribfest People's Choice Award”.
