The Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a four-week yoga session at the Alton Bay Community Center on Lake Winnipesaukee from February 5 through 28. Call 875-0109 for more information.
Classes will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and will consist of a fitness yoga style with a warm up, work and cool down phase. Traditional yoga postures are used to strengthen, stretch and balance our muscles and yoga breathing is practiced.
Come to one class per week for $20/session or two classes per week for $30/session. The drop-in fee is $7/class.
This is a go at your own pace class, modifications will be offered to increase or decrease posture intensity. Bring your sticky mat if you have one and bring water to drink, dress comfortable and to move. All abilities are welcome.
The class instructor is Kellie Troendle, Yoga Fit Certified Instructor and AFAA Personal Trainer.
Please arrive at least five minutes before class time and lease register by January 31 for the session to guarantee your spot.
