MOULTONBOROUGH — The Loon Center will host a program on Thursday, July 17, at 7:30 p.m. "The New Hampshire Coyote." There is free admission.
Guests will discover the history of the coyote in New Hampshire with Kristine Rines, certified wildlife biologist. Learn the
genetic origins, life history, status, reality vs. myth and how to live with coyotes as neighbors. Rines worked 30 years
for NH Fish & Game, 28 of those as moose project leader and Region 2 biologist.
Held at the Loon Center by the Loon Preservation Committee, The Summer Nature Talks are given every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm during the months of July and August. All programs are free admission. Come early and browse The Loon's Feather Gift shop.
For 37 years the Loon Preservation Committee has worked to preserve the Common Loon and its habitat in New Hampshire through research, education, and management activities.
Next Thursday, July 24th, Ben Kilham will present "What Bears Have Taught Me About Being Human".
