LOUDON — New Hampshire Motor Speedway recently signed a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve.
The Statement of Support confirms that the New Hampshire Motor Speedway joins other employers in pledging, among other things, that:
• They fully recognize, honor and comply with the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act.
• They appreciate the values, leadership, and unique skills service members bring to the workforce and will encourage opportunities to hire guardsmen, reservists, and veterans.
• They will continually recognize and support our country’s service members and their families, in peace, in crises, and in war.
“Today, supportive employers are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units which make up as much as 45 percent of our military capabilities.” said Bruce Thompson, NH state chair of the Defense Department’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program. “I am very pleased that the NH Motor Speedway is standing up to support our state’s Guard and Reserve members and units.”
