PLYMOUTH — A Massachusetts firm specializing in data integration, consulting and training services has relocated into the Enterprise Center at Plymouth (ECP). Rapidata Consulting works with hundreds of clients in data integration and data warehousing projects. This includes data storage, data quality, data analysis, metadata management, data governance, and business intelligence.
Mike Mahoney, owner of Rapidata, said that "moving into an accelerator with close proximity to campus resources was the key factor in deciding on relocating from another state. I plan on employing motivated PSU students to move my business forward."
The ECP is located at One Bridge Street in Plymouth, and is a business incubator and accelerator whose goal is to support entrepreneurship, small businesses, and economic development in central New Hampshire. Business services provided are leased space, shared office equipment, mentoring, educational programs, fund-raising assistance, and networking with new and existing businesses. It opened in October, 2013 and has experienced rapid growth and job creation success; since the ECP opened, 21 PSU students have interned at ECP and five have turned those internships into full-time jobs.
ECP Executive Director Michael Tentnowski said that all available office space is already occupied, while new space is being built out in time for the new year.
