Meredith Village Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of John Malm to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loans. Malm joined the bank one year ago as a Commercial Loan Officer.
Malm brings more than 10 years of lending experience to his commercial customers as he guides them through the loan process. Malm is also very involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Laconia/Weirs Beach Chamber of Commerce and is as a member of the Laconia Rotary. He volunteers for the Lakes Region United Way and currently serves as the organization's 2005 Fundraising Co-Chair. Malm also participated in the United Way's 2003 Loaned Executive Program.

"His commitment to helping customers and community organizations, combined with his skills and experience, makes him a true asset to the bank and the community."
Malm resides in Moultonborough with his wife and their two daughters. He enjoys playing golf, basketball and spending time with his family.
