On Tuesday, July 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. join NEHGS director of member services Pauline Cusson at the Public Library for a seminar that will teach participants some basic techniques for beginning to explore their genealogy.

The seminar will cover strategies for using repositories and websites for vital record information, tips on how to organize a pedigree chart, and the methodology for documenting your discoveries.

Be sure to bring your genealogy work in progress. Cusson and local genealogist Mary Caverly will be available to aid you after the presentation with problems and questions.

Registration is required, and may be done by calling 279-4309.
