Come join the Meredith Parks & Recreation Department for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to noon, for children up to age 9.

The hunt will be held outside at 1 Circle Drive in Meredith, with activities and refreshments inside following the hunt.

Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. at Circle Drive Park and the hunt will go as follows: Ages 1-2, 10:10 to 10:20 a.m.; ages 3-4, 10:20 to 10:30 a.m.; ages 5-6 10:40 to 10:50 a.m.; and finishing with ages 7-9 from 10:50 to 11 a.m.

Arrive prior to the designated hunt time to register, and dress accordingly, as Mother Nature always has a surprise up her sleeve. This event is open to all who would like to take part. Come have a fun-filled day of Easter activities with us to kick off the Easter weekend.

Following the hunt, all ages are welcome to go inside The Community Center for photos with the bunny, refreshments, a climbing wall, a jumpy house, face painting, arts and crafts, and much more.

This is a free event which relies on donations, volunteers and community support and we are so thankful to have the support of the Meredith Altrusa Club, Boy Scouts and Astra groups and the Friends of Meredith Parks & Recreation again this year, as well as donations from individuals and families.

They are in need of individual wrapped candy to stuff eggs, donations of food and beverage items, toys and prizes, Easter gift items, Easter baskets, etc. All donations can be dropped off at The Meredith Community Center by Friday, March 18, to help the bunny stuff all the eggs for the big day!
