LACONIA — Lakes Region Public Access Television will stream channel 25 via its website during the month of December. The programming will begin streaming free of charge at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4. It will continue throughout the month. The public access channel can be seen over MetroCast Channel 25 and also via the web at lrpa.org. Simply click on Channel 25 live.
The LNH Children's Auction will also be carried in its' entirety over MetroCast Channel 25 and LRPA's website. Anyone with web access can view all content courtesy of Lakes Region Public Access. The Children's Auction hours are Tuesday, 12/10 – Friday, 12/13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again in prime time from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday's cablecast on December 14 begins at 8 a.m. and continues until mid –afternoon, when all items are gone.
"We are looking forward to our foray into web based streaming as a new delivery system.", says Station Manager Denise Beauchaine. "For the first time since its inception, viewers who do not receive cable service from MetroCast can view Lakes Region Public Access TV on line or on their smart phones. Simply go to the apps store and download Livestream App for Android or IOF."
