LACONIA — Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Media Arts and Technology (MAT) majors, Krystal Jakows and Jonathan Geddis reviewed test footage taken during LRCC's first-ever student produced television commercial shoot earlier this month on Prescott Hill.

"It was an exciting opportunity to be able to work with all of the other students in different programs and get together to shoot the TV commercial, " says Jakows who anticipates graduating in May 2014. "The end result came out to be more than I'd hoped for. Classes with LRCC MAT professor Mike Place are fun, challenging and take students' creativity to another level."

"The opportunity to be the camera man for such a historical event became a once in a lifetime deal for me which will hopefully lead to more doors opening in my career," says Geddis also anticipating a May 2014 graduation date. "I can't wait to see the commercial aired." Jakows and Geddis were the directors of the shoot along with Place, and MAT major Ben Bate.
