HOLDERNESS — The hit musical comedy I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change by Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts will be performed over two long weekends at The Little Church Theater, August 13-15 and 20-22 at 8 pm. The second-longest running Off-Broadway musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change explores the joys and dysfunctions of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws through a series of hilarious anecdotes and hysterical songs. A series of short sketches follows the stages of relationships from preparations for a youthful first date, to pensioners meeting at a funeral, showcasing all of the trials and tribulations of the modern day mating game.
Written by Joe DiPietro, the lyrics are sharp, funny and moving. The light-hearted script is full of witty one-liners with observations of male and female behavior unerringly accurate and unfailingly amusing.
Directed by Dan Pelletier, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change will feature the talented local cast and crew of Adam Messinger, Jake Schaffner, Jennifer Schaffner and Monti McCoy, Laura Belanger, Music Director and Monica Derr, Stage Manager.
