The Laconia High School Theatre Arts Company will perform an adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic story, “Alice in Wonderland” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 12, 13, and 14t. The adaptation is by Brainerd Duffield, and it is produced by special arrangement with Baker’s Plays.
The production stars senior Angela Stewart as Alice, and features juniors Brooke Baerman as the Queen of Hearts, Paul Hoffman as the Mad Hatter, and Briana Ryan as the White Rabbit. The performance is directed by Bernie Campbell.
“We’re very excited about this show. We’re looking forward to having a big crowd of families and young children. That’s why we scheduled a matinee on Saturday,” said Campbell.
The performances of Thursday and Friday and Friday will be at 7 p.m. The Saturday performance will be at 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 dollars for students and seniors.
In addition, beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the performance, the students will be hosting a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, where children can interact with Alice and her friends before the show. The tea party will run until 1:30, and tickets for that event are $10 per family.
