On Wednesday, the Laconia Police Relief Association presented checks in support of the Laconia DARE Program and the Greater Lakes Child Advocacy Center(GLCAC). Laconia Police Chief Michael Moyer and Laconia Police Captain William Clary are pictured with Laconia D.A.R.E. Officer Liza Levin (left) and GLCAC Director Meghan Noyes as they are presented with checks for $1,000 each.

These donations were made possible by the generosity of the sponsors and participants of this year’s Thomas Mullen Memorial Golf Tournament, which took place on September 29 at the Laconia Country Club. The Golf Tournament is an annual event and the LPRA would like to thank the Mullen Family and all our sponsors, particularly our Silver Sponsors MB Tractor and Equipment, and Irving Corporation.

The GLCAC is a non-profit endeavor that primarily serves the towns of Belknap County as a friendly place where children that are victims or witnesses of crime can be interviewed. Donations can be sent to the GLCAC at 121 Belmont Road, Laconia, NH, 03246.
