LACONIA — The Laconia Police Officer's Association is organizing an Adult Basketball League that will
last ten weeks starting Feb. 6. The league is open to all adults age 18 and older. The LPOA
is using the proceeds to award scholarships to area students.
The season will consist of ten games (one per week, per team) and a two week playoff. The games are
being held at Gilford Youth Center during the evening. Teams can expect games to be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The league is seeking to field eight teams.
The cost of each team is $750 and each team may have up to 10 players. Registration forms can be
picked up at the Laconia Police Station, on the league Facebook page (LPOA Adult Basketball League
–Laconia), or emailing rsedgley@laconiapd.org. Registration deadline is Jan. 27.
