Laconia Alliance is changing its name to LifeQuest Church as part of its "new life celebration" Sunday, Sept. 24.
A gathering of worship and contemporary praise begins at 10 a.m., followed by a brief unveiling of a new church sign with the LifeQuest name and logo. The celebration concludes with a lunch on the church grounds at 115 Court St.
Pastor Rick Mowery hopes to bring a renewed sense of hope and excitement, a new vision and a new approach to ministry with the "new life" celebration and name change.
All are invited to the celebration. The unveiling will take place around 11:15 a.m.
