MEREDITH -- Ippolito's Furniture is celebrating the grand opening of its new mattress center this weekend. The 15,000-square-foot showroom is the largest in New Hampshire, with 90 mattresses on display from every leading brand.

"Buying a mattress is about selection," said Chip Ippolito, co-owner of the family business founded in 1976. "You have to see the top brands side by side, and you want to see a large selection from each top brand."

Ippolito says every single mattress he sells is made in the USA. Customers can try 20 different models from Serta, Sealy, Simmons, Therapedic, Reposa and Tempurpedic.

Unlike chain sleep stores, which price mattresses at deep discounts off higher list prices, Ippolito's sells every mattress at a single, clearly-marked lower price. "We guarantee having the lowest price on any mattress," Ippolito said.

Customers should plan on spending 30 minutes to an hour choosing the perfect mattress to meet their comfort and budget needs. Styles include memory foam, hybrid, traditional and specialty. Prices range from $299 for a basic queen set to $10,000 for the top-of-the-line Tempurpedic.

Ippolito's is at 193 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith. For more information call 279-7974 or visit www.ippolitosfurniture.com.
