Gunstock Mountain Resort will host the Greater Laconia-Weirs Beach Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" on Tuesday, July 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the base lodge. Gunstock Marketing and Sales Director Bill Quigley will be the host.
Gunstock Mountain Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, with a host of events and celebrations throughout the year. The mountain has not only been a great winter sports destination, but has been a meeting place and playground for generations of families, and offers year round activities as well as concerts, events, and a great place for outings, weddings and meetings.
The historic base lodge is a wonderful place to celebrate that special event, and the Panorama lift glides you to the top for the most spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Gunstock will have a running show of the history of the mountain since construction by the WPA in 1935-1937. Information will be available that evening regarding season passes, and events for the summer. Chamber members, their guests and the general public are invited to attend.
Along with refreshments and a cash bar, door prizes will be available for all who attend.
Guests may enter to win a variety of prizes including tickets to ski and ride.
