GILFORD — The Youth Center will be hosting its eighth annual Turkey Trot 5K Race and Family Walk on Thanksgiving morning. The event is for all ages — pets and strollers are welcome.
The race will begin at 9 a.m., with an 8:45 a.m. start for walkers). The registered 5K course is "fast and flat" and runs through Gilford Village. Participants can preregister online at gil fordyouthcenter.com, or register the morning of the race. Proceeds from the event will help support the Gilford Youth Center.
