GILFORD — The Eric Grant Band will compete for the state title in four categories at the NH Country Music Association’s 23rd Annual Competition at The Circle 9 Ranch in Epsom on Sunday, August 22.
The group will compete in both the New Country Band of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year categories with bandleader Eric Grant and his sister, Sherry Grant, also competing for Male and Female Vocalist of the year.
Winners will advance to the Northeast Invitational Country Showdown in October and the North American Country Music Association International competition to be held in Pigeon Forge, TN in March 2011.
The Eric Grant Band has played in front of thousands of fans in northern New England since their inception a little more than a year ago. They have been featured as a supporting act for national headliners such as Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, the Zac Brown Band, Phil Vasser, and Lonestar.
The band is comprised of lead vocalist Eric Grant of Gilford, his sister lead vocalist Sherry Grant of Gilford, keyboard player Paul DiBiaso of Winnisquam, lead guitarist Carlos Flores of Nashua, bass player Dan Haney of Bristol, and drummer John Littlefield of Alton.
