GILFORD — A portion of the proceeds of Florida Georgia Line’s concert at Bank of NH Pavilion Friday and tonight will be donated to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, according to a publicist for the group.
Florida Georgia's Smooth Tour is appearing at the Bank of NH Pavilion after crisscrossing the country since its spring kick off in Texas with stops in Dallas and Austin. In the wake of Hurricane Harvey and the destruction unfolding across Texas and beyond, the duo's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are joining the relief efforts to support those effected by this devastating storm.
Together FGL and the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion are teaming up to get the word out on how New England can assist in the fundraising efforts.
“We are praying for Houston and all of Texas,” said Kelley. “We know a lot of people in different cities that were hit hard and affected. We want to do everything we can to raise awareness and help support the relief efforts."
Hubbard adds, “Every little bit helps and we hope that you join us in showing support for Texas.”
A portion of proceeds from both nights — Friday and tonight (Saturday) — of their Gilford shows will benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts of the American Red Cross along with additional local organizations aiding those in need.
In an event being hailed as the worst flooding disaster in U.S. History, the American Red Cross is working tirelessly to get help where it is needed most. The first priority – keeping people safe, while providing shelter, food and a shoulder to lean on. The American Red Cross has launched a massive response to this devastating storm and needs financial support to continue to provide immediate disaster relief to those regions destroyed by Harvey.
“Let’s show Texas - New England supports you in your time of need,” RJ Harding, president of Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion stated. Harding stated Bank NH Pavilion will be coordinating with FGL and launching a multi-platform campaign to get the word out in support of the American Red Cross’s fundraising efforts for Harvey.
The American Red Cross’s New Hampshire Chapter will be on site at the Bank of NH Pavilion for the FGL shows with staffers set to spread the message. From blood donation locations and blood drives, to volunteer subscriber lists and direct donation boxes, those on hand can provide up-to-date information on where the greatest need is.
How can you help? Donate today by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-REDCROSS or texting HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
