The Ellacoya Barn & Grille at 2667 Lakeshore Road on Route 11 in Gilford recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new membership within the Greater Laconia/Weirs Beach Chamber of Commerce. Owner Steve Buzzotta and general manager Kevin Nadeau of the renovated restaurant, store and deli have worked hard to serve up a family-friendly atmosphere. Affordable breakfasts, lunches or dinners are available year around. Its casual, rustic feel also provides modern amenities in order to make you comfortable.

Buzzotta has converted the former automotive and marine repair shop at the back of the Ellacoya Country Store and Deli into a two-story restaurant with outdoor seating. The garage, once a post and beam barn, has been converted back into its original state. The country store still utilizes the front of the building, while the adjoining deli is now part of the restaurant downstairs. The deli offers sandwiches, burgers and fries while the restaurant has a fuller menu including steak, seafood and a full bar.

The live acoustic entertainment on Thursdays only adds to its atmosphere. Customers dining upstairs can enjoy a crackling fire in the winter months. Comfortable leather couches and chairs invite customers to relax. Feel free to stop into the bar and just catch up with friends.
