GILFORD — Two special programs are scheduled next week at the Gilford Library.
"Downton Abbey" fans and tea drinkers alike are invited to the library on Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., to celebrate the conclusion of this hit show with a Downton Abbey Premiere Tea Party. Join other fans in saying goodbye to the memorable characters with other fans while playing games, snacking, drinking tea and watching the season five finale.
Sign up is required, so interested participants are encouraged to contact the Gilford Public Library at library@gilfordlibrary.org or 524-6042 to ask any questions and to register.
Children are invited to visit the library in their PJs to watch a screening of "Minions" at the library on New Years Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This PG movie is sure to be a hit. Light snacks will be provided. Interested participants are encouraged to contact the library at library@gilfordlibrary.org or 524-6042 to ask any questions.
