The Belmont Fire Association is organizing a volunteer clean-up of the Leslie E. Roberts Town Beach on Lake Winnisquam for Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers can arrive ready to help, with trash bags and gloves provided by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Divemasters will be cleaning up the underwater swim area, along with offering a demonstration on diving. Sears employees will be cooking lunch for the volunteers.
Donations will be accepted to help out the firefighters fund.
