Belknap Mill's Private Collection's Event for 2010 features 'Best of the West' theme

The Historic Belknap Mill’s 5th Annual Private Collections’ Event is going country! On Friday, May 7, it’s a round-up of the “Best of the West,” featuring a collection of vintage cars, pick-up trucks, motorcycles, farm equipment, western fashions and more.

This hoedown brings to life the old west with boot-stomping entertainment, great food, lively spirits, and cowpokin’ fun that will have yer grinnin' like a weasel in a hen house. Sure shootin’ it’ll be aces-high at the Lake Opechee Inn & Conference Center, which will be transformed in to a blazing, western, frontier town. Buckaroos and cowgirls can git their fill at the Old Mill Saloon, and chow with all the fixin’s will be served when the chuckwagon pulls in. Greenhorns and fillies are welcome to kick up their heels at the dance hall.

The event takes place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., and tickets are $100 per person or $550 for a table of six. Proceeds will benefit the Historic Belknap Mill.
