On Saturday May 3 for, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the BYF youth group will have a bake sale at the United Baptist Church at 23 Park Street in Lakeport. There will also be a yard sale hosted by the Mission Committee.
The youth group will have their 1208 Link Paper Chain with them that signifies the 1208 children under the age of five that die every hour of every day from hunger, malnutrition and disease. They are asking that
everyone who donates to come and sign a link of our chain and purchase one of our handmade bracelets which represents blue for clean water, green for planting of more crops and orange for awareness of world hunger.
