Bank of New Hampshire presents Lakes Region Art Association's 2017 art shows

LACONIA — Do you have an appreciation for art? Join the Lakes Region Art Association at the Tanger Outlets for the 2017 art show series presented by Bank of New Hampshire. Each show will have a different theme to be enjoyed by all.

"Because of the generous support from Bank of New Hampshire, the association is able to present five art shows in 2017 which highlight original works of art by Lakes Region artists," said BJ Eckardt, co-chair of the 2017 LRAA Show Committee. "These funds help cover the expenses associated with putting on an art show and keeping artists entry fees at a reasonable rate."

The next show, "Eye of the Beholder," takes place Friday, April 14, through Monday, May 15. The Lakes Region Art Association is teaming up with the Lakes Region Camera Club to present this show. Photographers from the Camera Club offer up a limited number of photos from which the artists from the Art Association will use as inspiration to create works of art. At the show, the photographs and the newly created works of art will be displayed side by side.

"The Lakes Region Art Association is a vehicle to enhance ability and to further the appreciation of art in the Lakes Region," said Donna Murray, vice president – investment officer for Bank of New Hampshire. "Bank of New Hampshire is a proud supporter of the Lakes Region Art Association and the entire cultural arts community."
