Nearly 50 students from grades five through nine participated Monday in the 10th Annual Bob Dearborn Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at Memorial Middle School. The event was sponsored by Parents and Children Together (P.A.C.T.)

Each player received a free T-shirt and the chance to win a shooting contest. Christian Birt sank a bank-shot from half-court to win a $50 savings bond. Basketballs were five students who made 3-point shots.

The winning teams in each division were:

— 5th & 6th Grade: "The Ballers", Robert Rama, Babakar Kamara & Albert Rama

— 7th & 8th Grade: "The Champs", Nick Bragg, Justin Pradachitch & Kisun McLean

— 9th Grade: "Sharpshooters", Brady O'Neil, Christian Birt, Pete Evans & Eric Dean

— 7th & 8th Grade Girls: "The Raiders", Lindsay Carr, Danielle Dean, Kayla Jamison

Tournament organizers were grateful to Memorial Middle School and Vinnie DeCesare; referees Jim Babcock, Jim Chase and Brian Bolduc; scorekeepers Crystal Farricy, Danielle Plourde and David Prescott; Marie Perkins and the 8th Grade graduation committee for refreshments; and to the parents and players for their support of a great tournament.
