LACONIA — A new hockey adventure starts this Thursday.

Introducing the 'Wolves Kids Show' — a fun animated series following Bear, Blake, Herbie, Coach T, and Roger, the rink-loving dog. This is a short-form animated series available online that will teach young kids hockey and sports fundamentals.

“I was looking for a fun way for kids to learn the game and find ways to think about enhancing their skills that didn't involve them getting on the ice and paying for a private instructor. I think this project will be fun for kids, use some amazing new technology that kids will visually be interested in, and they will learn the proper way to do things on the ice without a coach hovering over them,” said Andrew Trimble, the show's creator and general manager of the Laconia-based New England Wolves hockey team.

Each episode brings hockey skills, teamwork, friendship, and confidence to life through stories young players and their families can enjoy together.

Episode 1, "Herbie Learns to Pass," premieres Thursday, Oct. 8, at 3:30 p.m. on the Scoring Concepts YouTube channel. New episodes premiere every Thursday.
