WOLFEBORO — The Wolfeboro Lions Club will be holding a pre-Thanksgiving food drive on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to benefit L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry. Lions members will be collecting donations at both Harvest Market and Hunter’s Shop ’n Save.

The Lions encourage community members to contribute non-perishable, packaged, and unexpired food items. While all donations are appreciated, certain staple items are especially helpful for the pantry’s regular distributions, including saltines, cereal, corned beef hash, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned pasta such as SpaghettiOs, canned fruit, and protein shakes like Boost. Monetary donations are also welcome and help the pantry purchase fresh items and meet specific needs throughout the year.

The L.I.F.E. Ministries Food Pantry has been serving local families for decades, providing essential support to neighbors facing food insecurity. The Wolfeboro Lions are proud to assist in this mission and invite residents to join them in sharing the spirit of giving this holiday season.
