Wolfeboro Lions Club celebrates community spirit through Annual Car Show, Fourth of July Parade participation

WOLFEBORO — The Wolfeboro Lions Club is proud to reflect on a weekend filled with community pride, connection, and service, highlighted by two signature summer traditions: Participation in the Fourth of July Parade, and The Sixth Annual Wolfeboro Lions Club Car Show.

Together, these events showcased what has long defined the Lions’ mission in Wolfeboro, not just hosting events, but strengthening the fabric of the community through service, visibility, and engagement.

The car show once again brought together an impressive display of 180 vehicles, drawing hundreds of residents and visitors to enjoy a day filled with food, fun, and shared enthusiasm for automotive craftsmanship. While the vehicles were the centerpiece, the day’s true impact lay in the conversations, connections, and community support surrounding the event.

As one Lions member reflected after the Fourth of July Parade, a simple moment captured the deeper meaning behind the Club’s work:

“I want to thank you. You helped my grandson get glasses.”

That message serves as a reminder that every event, every volunteer hour, and every dollar raised goes directly back into programs that support neighbors in need, through vision and hearing assistance, scholarships, Camp Pride, food support, and youth initiatives.

The Lions also proudly participated in the Fourth of July Parade, joining the community in celebrating Independence Day and continuing a long-standing tradition of visibility and service.

The parade provided another opportunity to connect with residents, share the Lions’ mission, and celebrate the spirit of Wolfeboro.
