BRISTOL — The Tapply-Thompson Community Center will host an open house and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m. to mark the completion of recent renovations.

Work included a building-wide sprinkler and security system, an ADA accessible entrance and elevator to program areas, four bathrooms, offices and game room, gymnasium floor, repainted steeple, a music room and numerous other upgrades.

Funds for the work came from donations, a grant from the NH Community Development Finance Authority’s Community Center Investment Program. The program leveraged federal American Rescue Plan Act funds to make deeper impacts within New Hampshire communities through one-time, strategic investments in critical infrastructure.

The open house will include tours of the new facilities and an announcement of grant awards.
