GILFORD ― Get ready for a night of nonstop laughter as the talented students of Gilford High School proudly present "The Play That Goes Wrong ― High School Edition" in the Gilford High School Auditorium March 26-28 at 7 p.m.

Rehearsals are in full swing, and a dedicated cast of 13 student performers has been working tirelessly to bring this wildly entertaining comedy to life. Combining high-energy physical comedy with sharp verbal wit, the production follows a determined theater troupe attempting to stage a serious mystery play ... where absolutely everything goes wrong.

Expect the unexpected:

  • Flats that fall at the worst possible moment
  • Doors that refuse to open (or won’t stay closed)
  • Props that “safely” drop on unsuspecting actors
  • Lines forgotten, cues missed, and chaos around every corner

The result? A fast-paced, laugh-out-loud spectacle where something new is always happening and the audience is in on the joke. From start to finish, audience members won’t stop laughing.

This production showcases not only the cast’s impeccable comedic timing, but also the hard work of the student crew members managing the technical challenges that make the mayhem possible.
